Sufficiency: the forgotten sustainability strategy presented at TEDx

Joost Declercq

We are pleased to share that our colleague Joost Declercq took to the stage at TEDxBrussels to explain, using concrete cases, what sufficiency is and what kind of innovation the GRO tool can offer in this respect.

Sufficiency is a sustainability strategy that starts from the question of what is “enough” in terms of space, materials and energy, and how we can use these as efficiently as possible. It focuses on providing sufficient comfort and services for wellbeing, without overconsumption and within the environmental limits of our planet – a true win-win situation for both people and the environment.
