Greenpeace wins the ‘Smart Building’ Award at the Green Solutions Awards Belgium

The Greenpeace Belgium HQ has is the winner of the Green Solutions Awards Belgium in the ‘Smart Building’ category. The award recognises projects that combine innovation, sustainability, and design, while highlighting the need to rethink our construction methods in order to better protect our planet.

Greenpeace Belgium is the transformation of the former Brussels Organ Factory, located in the city centre, through a ‘matchmaking’ process that led to an innovative approach to programming the new offices. The existing structures, as well as the interior and surrounding climates, were analysed and adapted to the specific activities of the Greenpeace team (from formal meetings to a climbing wall), resulting in a ‘low-tech’ project with a high-quality working environment.
