archipelago is looking for a senior (ir.) architect for our offices in Brussels and Leuven

archipelago – a growing architecture office based in Brussels, Leuven, Paris and Barcelona with a diverse portfolio of large-scale projects in Belgium and abroad.

Following our recent expansion and the current exploration of new markets, archipelago is looking for new talent that wants to contribute to the development of the office and join a diverse team of architects, engineers, interior architects, urban planners, researchers, sustainability consultants, graphic designers, BIM modelers, and many more.

We are looking for a talent who is passionate about architecture and values themes such as future-oriented and sustainable building, generative design, and user comfort.

Profile

  • Master's degree in (ir.-)architecture
  • At least 10 years of experience (including internship)
  • For our Brussels office, excellent knowledge of French (native language) is necessary, knowledge of Dutch is a plus
  • For our Leuven office, excellent knowledge of Dutch (native language) is necessary, knowledge of French is a plus
  • Precise, independent, initiative-taking, eager to learn
  • You are able to set clear priorities and maintain an overview during busy periods
  • Managing a project from A to Z
  • Driving license B (advantage) for traveling to sites and external appointments
  • Good knowledge of BIM (Revit) and BIM coordination is an advantage

Function

  • As a project manager, you will participate in large-scale studies and projects (full implementation of projects through to delivery)
  • You will work in a team to develop concepts and projects
  • You will coordinate and lead a team
  • You manage meetings and have direct contact with clients
